I wrote stuff yesterday thinking I had created a blog, but it does not seem to be here today. Waddo eye no.

I am supposed to be an artist. I draw and paint and dress the part without trying very hard, come naturally. Website jonathanrogersart.com. My lifetime obsession is pursuing "nothing definite". At last, finally, I have come up with a way of defining it.

This is my first time as a blogger. Waddo eye no.

I am broadly categorized as an "artist". OK, I draw and paint. I have a history in a lot of art related fields like animation, museum display, advertsing, teaching, model making, photography, film making. They are all secondary to my life long obsession - the pursuit of nothing definite. The undeniable mystery that we all experience at some time or other, the infinite, the intangible, the what...some power greater than ourselves. Even the diehard athiest will admit that in terms of ultimate existence, there are forces and dynamics that we do not know a whole lot about, and what we do know is in a quagmire of fantasy, magic, superstition and beliefs, the accumulation of religion, philosophy and psychology.
